Under the umbrella of The Labrador Club, some of our members do their best to help abandoned and unwanted pure bred Labradors.

The Rescue scheme is mainly intended for dogs impounded by the authorities and not claimed, and for those whose owners die or become physically unable to look after their dogs any more.

We do however also have owners asking us to find new homes for their Labradors because they are just not coping. Perhaps they did not give enough thought to the commitment of owning a dog or perhaps the breeder did not research the potential owner thoroughly.
