Background Story
Baloo needs a new home.
He is a gorgeous 2year old male chocolate labrador
He is desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated and living in Auckland. He has had basic training but definitely requires more to be a well-behaved boy. He was an inside dog but for the last year has been relegated to the outside.
Since changes to their family, his owners have found themselves unable to provide the time, structure and consistent training that a young Labrador requires. They are not giving him the love and attention he deserves or craves and want him to go to a loving home where he will be an integral part of the family.

Baloo is a friendly, people loving boy with a sweet nature and lots of potential.
He is extremely energetic and strong, and while he hasn’t had consistent basic training (recall and lead manners are still developing), this is due to lack of time rather than temperament or effort on Baloo’s part.
He is food-motivated, eager to engage, and would respond very well to structured training with an experienced owner.
He has been living on a rural property and lives and feeds solely outdoors now. He was an inside dog until he turned around 1year old. He has not lived with cats.
He has had exposure to livestock from within a securely fenced area.
