Directions for walks – 
 
Woodhill Forest - Muriwai – Take Highway 16 towards Helensville and take the Muriwai turn off. 
When you get to Muriwai, go down the hill until you get to the Fire Station,
 then turn right on Coast Road. 
Drive past the Golf Course and keep going until the end of the road to where
 the car park is and across from there is where the walks start.
 
Whitford Forest- Maraetai entrance – When travelling from Whitford, Rewa Road is the first on right off 
the roundabout in Maraetai Drive just as you enter Maraetai proper. 
If you are heading into Maraetai from the south, Rewa Road is at the far end of the beach 
– turn left at the roundabout. The entrance to the forest walk is at the end of Rewa Road.

Whitford Forest- Waikopua Road entrance – When travelling from Whitford towards Beachlands & Maraetai, 
Waikopua Road is the first on right once you have passed the tip entrance. Drive up the road
 past Patterdale Kennels and the cemetery- the entrance to the forest is on your left.
 Park on the grass or beside the road. Take care - it is a shingle road and a little
